Early on Friday, June 25 four of us (Neil Boyd, Ernie Utz, Roger Luebs and I) piled into Neil's Suburban and headed for Red Lake, Ontario, Canada for a week of fishing. Eight hours later we arrived at Red Lake, checked in with the outfitter and headed for our hotel.
After checking in we drove to a beach on Red Lake for a swim and a dinner of barbecued ribs.

We got our gear into the cabin in time for a rain shower. The rain stopped in time for us to catch walleye for our first of seven delicious walleye meals prepared by Neil.

On Saturday, July 3 we packed our gear for the trip home. The Otter arrived at 7:15 AM and we loaded up for the flight back to Red Lake.
Gear Packed and Waiting of Otter
We arrived at Red Lake just ahead of a major storm cell. When the rain let up we loaded the Suburban and headed home. Our only moose sighting was on the highway south of Red Lake.

We arrived back at Twin Lakes at 6:30 PM after a great fishing adventure and ready for a sauna.
