Catching up on Chores

Even while traveling it is necessary to do chores.  I spent some time putting my fishing gear in order, airing out my sleeping bag, packing away my rain gear and catching up on bills and finances.

Of course we do have time for the occasional cruise around Twin Lakes on Don's pontoon boat to check out the Loon and Eagle families.  One of the baby eagles made its first flight yesterday and was trying to figure out how to get back up to the nest.  The mama eagle also made some attempts to provide her eaglets with a meal of baby loon but thankfully was unsuccessful.  Interesting to watch however.

I also got a lesson on how to nap in a hammock from my "little nephew" Nate.

And... there are always the beautiful sunsets over Twin Lakes.

We are looking forward to a weekend of family visiting and the Catfish Festival in Floodwood, my home town.
