Arches National Park - Day 2

We got up early, brewed a pot of coffee, threw some goodies into a bag and headed for the park.  Our objective was to capture the arches in early mong sunlight.

Our first stop was Balanced Rock.

I captured this Black Eyed Susan on my way to viewing Delicate Arch.

We went back to the motorhome to pack a picnic lunch but the thunder showers kept us there through lunch.  After lunch we explored along the Colorado river northeast of Moab.

Mary enjoyed getting stuck in the Colorado River mud.

Then we explored west of Moab and found some great petroglyphs.

On our way back to the motorhome we stopped at the red sand dunes to let Mary have some fun.

I was looking forward to some evening photography but was thwarted by still more thunder showers.  I couldn't complain too much as we had a great day.
