Arches National Park

We arrived at Arches National Park at lunch time, checked in to our campsite, had lunch and then went exploring.

Arches National Park is an amazing place.

Our first stop was at Park Avenue.  The tall red spires of sandstone resemble skyscrapers.

This formation is Cleopatra

Just the scenery on the way in is amazing, but the arches just blow you away.

The view to the east is the Lasal Mountains.

So does the scenery in general.  The thundershowers showed up at about 2:00 PM so we returned to the motorhome for an early dinner and then went back out for some amazing images.

We also extende our stay for another night as we quickly learned we can't see very much of the park in an afternoon.
